ROYAL BIRMINGHAM SOCIETY OF ARTISTS (RBSA) 
The RBSA is a long-established society with its own gallery, located just off St Paul’s Square, Birmingham with regular exhibitions, workshops and demonstrations. There is a Friends section with monthly activities including expert appraisals of work.

SHAPESHIFTERS SCULPTURE GROUP
This is a group of practising sculptors with bases in Dudley College and at Winterbourne Garden in Birmingham. Most of the work is in stone although other materials such as wood, clay and metal is also used.

Sutton Coldfield’s stitched textile and embroidery group. This group is for anyone interested in machine embroidery, cross stitch, gold work, crochet, knitting etc. There are speakers, workshops, exhibitions.

Creative Textiles with Jacqui & Pauline
Friday evening 6.30 – 9 pm fortnightly, Saturday morning 9.30 am – 12 noon fortnightly at 1 Arden Drive, Wylde Green, Sutton Coldfield, B73 5ND.
Cost: £20 per session.
Techniques will include: free motion machine embroidery, creating textured surfaces and much more.

Stonehouse Studios
is a pottery, sculpture, drawing and painting workshop at Drayton Bassett and ideally positioned for access from Birmingham, Lichfield, Tamworth and Sutton Coldfield. The studio is run by artist practitioner and tutor Karen Bird, with over 30 years experience of teaching all ages and abilities. Students will benefit from Karen’s uniquely skilled artistic interpretation and observation, with personalised instruction tailored to their individual needs and abilities.
